Hello!
An aspiring artist with a strong passion for animals, most of my art is focused on horses and testing their form. However, I love challenging myself with new techniques and subjects. I currently work as a part-time professional photographer in addition to my retail position at Bath & Body Works. I am confident in my strengths, a few of which include painting, photography, and drawing. I also happen to be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite CS4 and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4. My goal is to become a successful artist, whether it be with my photography, painting, or drawing.
My love of art comes from my father. I used to sit in his studio for hours and watch him make intricate walking sticks or sketch ideas. I admired the ability to create something from nothing and the impact it had on those who received his walking sticks. Now, art is something that is a part of me.
My horse Dublin and my two dogs, Shyah and Khalu, significantly impact my artwork. They are like my children and give me strength and inspiration to overcome any obstacle. They are included in several of my pieces and my charcoal drawing of Dublin won an award.
Of course, I cannot forget to mention my partner in crime, Duncan. He is a tremendous motivator and is my number one fan and supporter. He believes in me even when I do not believe in myself and pushes me to keep moving forward.
